Ben Sachs-Hamilton

Program Manager
Ben Sachs-Hamilton manages the New Pathways program portfolio at EmcArts, as well as overseeing communications and other external relations. Through this work, he enjoys the challenges and rewards of building new connections and new partnerships with program participants and the broader community. He graduated from the College of Letters at Wesleyan University and received a Master of Arts in Teaching from Brandeis University, and has worked as both a classroom teacher and a nonprofit administrator. Ben is deeply involved in American traditional music and dance, particularly contra dancing and shape-note singing, and spends lots of time thinking about how to make these communities safe and welcoming for all people. He also enjoys getting outside, on foot or by bicycle, as often as possible.
