Sami Berger loves working with partners who are tackling complex social issues, to help them meaningfully integrate learning into their strategic direction. She developed a curiosity for understanding complex communities through studying Anthropology, which emphasizes how our beliefs, habits, and institutions shape and are shaped how we collectively make sense of the world. As a developmental evaluator, she uses an ethnographic, qualitative approach to collaborate with her partners to support their organizational capacity for learning, strategies to understand their impact, and approaches to supporting high quality processes.
Sami is a voracious reader and passionate environmentalist. As a Canadian in New York City, don’t get her started on the merits of a Montreal versus New York bagels.
